In 2016, we will have riders of all different ability levels from around the world hopping on their bikes to help fight the global water crisis. Our teams will be pedaling hard to help write the next chapter for the lives of people in Kaliro, Uganda.
In 2016, Wheels4Water is enabling people around the world to take part in transforming lives in Uganda through access to clean water. We're welcoming our friends and family to join us on cycling rides in two states, Arizona and Illinois, as well as a Team Ride Anywhere where fundraisers will gather and ride in their own cities and neighborhoods. Each team will collectively raise financial support and awareness to provide clean water and sanitation in this region, with a $70,000 total goal. If cycling isn't your thing, we still need your help so please donate online, help spread the word, and encourage your friends to get involved!
This year's rides will again support Lifewater International, an organization with a proven strategy and resources for creating sustainable development in impoverished communities such as Kaliro. We've seen first-hand the need in this region, and want to give everyone who has stood with us over the past two years the opportunity to take personal stand against the reality these people face. So grab your bike, strap on your helmet, and let's get to work. One pedal at a time.
