Thank you so much for coming to our fundraising page! Max and I are excited about the opportunity to be a part of real change in the life of people around the world.

It’s hard to believe that people today live without access to clean water...but unfortunately, it’s true. And even more people live without access to a toilet. This tragedy takes the life of millions of people every month and through our upcoming trip to Africa, my son, Max and I  have the opportunity to save lives!

Through Lifwater International's Activewater subsidiary, our climb up Kilimanjaro is going to be a father-son climb of a lifetime. And we're doing this trip as a fundraising effort to give clean water to those who need it most.

I have been volunteering for Lifewater for several years now. But my involvement so far has been writing and pitching press releases as a volunteer effort. Now, I have the opportunity to do much more - to climb Kilimanjaro with Max for the purpose of helping to provide clean water to one of the world's poorest communities.

Lifewater and its Activewater subsidiary are important to us because they bring hope to some of the most impoverished people in the world by providing them with clean water, toilets and health education.

All of the proceeds raised through this effort go directly to Lifewater's Borena water project in Ethiopia. I am paying for all of our hiking and travel expenses separately, so this website is strictly for water project fundraising. Will you join us in being part of the solution to people around the world who desperately need clean water?

We very much appreciate your generosity!
